Artificial Intelligence is in its infancy, so this is an exceptionally challenging area of work. I had hoped I could provide some equipment through sponsorship at the beginning of the course, but due to funding delays, we were not able to. We had an aggressive schedule for development, but realistically, this is a complicated area of work and each student presentation illustrated different areas in which we could focus. Personally, I was intrigued by what the students presented and I think the work Charles is doing is inspiring and has promise, and I am happy to be involved at such an early stage in the program development to help however I can in the progression of the work.
